It is also used for alleviation of the menstrual pain, before and during the menstrual cycle. Ibutran Plus is used for the treatment of psoriatic arthritis (a chronic skin disease causing scaling and swelling), gouty arthritis (which develops from the built up of some chemical in the joints) and ankylosing spondylitis (arthritis that affects the spine).
