Interaction between Food and Acticin
Due to a lack of research, nothing can be said about the consequences of taking Acticin together with food.
Interaction between Alcohol and Acticin
Taking Acticin with alcohol can have severely harmful effects on your health.
As we know Acticin is most widely used 'over-the-counter' analgesic/antipyretic medicine. However, paracetamol overdose can cause serious adverse effects on the liver, it may be fatal. But fortunately, there is an antidote, N-acetylcysteine (NAC) given within 8 hours of Acticin ingestion which usually can prevent all serious side effects of Acticin poisoning. However, do not take NAC without consulting a doctor as your doctor will tell you the right way and methods to help you relieve from this drug poisoning.
No harmful interactions have been reported between Acticin and codeine. Do not take it until and unless prescribed. However, if you are experiencing any unpleasant medicinal side effects such as nausea, stomach pain, and tremors after taking Acticin. Inform your doctor immediately.
Acticin is primarily not used to treat a common cold and sore throat. It can only relieve cold-related symptoms such as a fever, headache, earache, and aching joints. It doesn't help in relieving cough or stuffy nose.
