Pyrexin is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Syrup. It is primarily used for the treatment of Fever, Headache, Pain. Pyrexin also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

Interaction between Food and Pyrexin

Interaction between Alcohol and Pyrexin
Taking alcohol with Pyrexin can be dangerous.
Pyrexin is being used by pregnant women for many years without any evident harmful effects on the baby. That's why it is usually recommended as the first-line painkiller for pregnant women. But it is not possible to say that this medicine is completely safe to use in pregnancy. You are highly recommended to check with your doctor/gynaecologist before taking any medicine even [medicine] during pregnancy.
You should take the minimum effective dose of Pyrexin that reduces body pain and fever. It should be used for the shortest time period till you get relief. Take it as per doctor's advice do not exceed dosage. Ideally, 1 or 2 tablets (500 mg) every four to six hours can be safely taken, do not take more than four doses in 24 hours. Please note paracetamol 500 mg tablet should not be given to children below 10 years until and unless prescribed by a child specialist.
Yes, Pyrexin can be taken safely with a less sedative antihistaminic drug like cetirizine and loratadine etc. No harmful effects are reported. However, another group of antihistamine drug which causes drowsiness and sleepiness like chlorpheniramine, diphenhydramine etc. should not be taken together unless and until recommended by your doctor.
