Interaction between Food and Medimol F

Interaction between Alcohol and Medimol F
Consuming Medimol F with alcohol can have many serious effects on your body.
Yes, Medimol F can be taken safely with a less sedative antihistaminic drug like cetirizine and loratadine etc. No harmful effects are reported. However, another group of antihistamine drug which causes drowsiness and sleepiness like chlorpheniramine, diphenhydramine etc. should not be taken together unless and until recommended by your doctor.
Medimol F is primarily not used to treat a common cold and sore throat. It can only relieve cold-related symptoms such as a fever, headache, earache, and aching joints. It doesn't help in relieving cough or stuffy nose.
As we know Medimol F is most widely used 'over-the-counter' analgesic/antipyretic medicine. However, paracetamol overdose can cause serious adverse effects on the liver, it may be fatal. But fortunately, there is an antidote, N-acetylcysteine (NAC) given within 8 hours of Medimol F ingestion which usually can prevent all serious side effects of Medimol F poisoning. However, do not take NAC without consulting a doctor as your doctor will tell you the right way and methods to help you relieve from this drug poisoning.
Although it's believed that Medimol F works mainly in the central nervous system (Brain and Spine). It prevents the release of prostaglandin, which is responsible for increasing pain and body temperature. It effectively reduces the intensity of pain signals to the brain.
Yes, you can use Medimol F in a migraine. Paracetamol and other NSAIDs are used in treating migraine. However, there are other medicines available that are better for treating migraine than Medimol F. Please consult a doctor to know about these alternative medicines.
