Calipar is a prescription medicine that is available as a Syrup. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Fever, Headache, Pain. Calipar also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

Interaction between Food and Calipar
Due to a lack of research, nothing can be said about the consequences of taking Calipar together with food.
Interaction between Alcohol and Calipar
Taking alcohol with Calipar can be dangerous.
Although it's believed that Calipar works mainly in the central nervous system (Brain and Spine). It prevents the release of prostaglandin, which is responsible for increasing pain and body temperature. It effectively reduces the intensity of pain signals to the brain.
As we know Calipar is most widely used 'over-the-counter' analgesic/antipyretic medicine. However, paracetamol overdose can cause serious adverse effects on the liver, it may be fatal. But fortunately, there is an antidote, N-acetylcysteine (NAC) given within 8 hours of Calipar ingestion which usually can prevent all serious side effects of Calipar poisoning. However, do not take NAC without consulting a doctor as your doctor will tell you the right way and methods to help you relieve from this drug poisoning.
An overdose occurs when more than the required amount (toxic levels) of [medicine] is taken. Initial symptoms of Calipar overdose includes loss of appetite, drowsiness, seizures, abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting. Later progressive symptoms may include pain in your upper stomach, dark colored urine, yellowing of your skin or the white patches in your eyes, liver damage and in rare cases, it can also lead to coma. So, by any chance, if you have accidentally taken more than the required dose of Calipar inform your doctor immediately.
Yes, you can take Calipar with or without food, because it doesn't irritate the stomach lining, unlike other drugs. However, if you are taking NSAIDs (painkillers) such as Aspirin and Ibuprofen along with paracetamol it is best to take them with a light meal or a glass of milk.
No, Calipar is not used for treating stomach pain. The stomach pain could be due to some underlying medical condition which may require medical attention. If the pain does not subside within 1 day. Please consult your doctor without further delay.
