Adwin is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Syrup, Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Fever, Headache, Pain. Adwin also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.
The optimal dosage of Adwin is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. Taking alcohol with Adwin can be dangerous.
Yes, you can take Adwin with tramadol. The combination of Adwin and tramadol are prescribed by doctors to relieve from severe to moderate pain. However, do not take it on your own.
Yes, Adwin can be taken safely with a less sedative antihistaminic drug like cetirizine and loratadine etc. No harmful effects are reported. However, another group of antihistamine drug which causes drowsiness and sleepiness like chlorpheniramine, diphenhydramine etc. should not be taken together unless and until recommended by your doctor.
If you are allergic to Adwin then do not take it. Inform your doctor immediately for alternative medicine.
An overdose occurs when more than the required amount (toxic levels) of [medicine] is taken. Initial symptoms of Adwin overdose includes loss of appetite, drowsiness, seizures, abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting. Later progressive symptoms may include pain in your upper stomach, dark colored urine, yellowing of your skin or the white patches in your eyes, liver damage and in rare cases, it can also lead to coma. So, by any chance, if you have accidentally taken more than the required dose of Adwin inform your doctor immediately.
No harmful interactions have been reported between Adwin and codeine. Do not take it until and unless prescribed. However, if you are experiencing any unpleasant medicinal side effects such as nausea, stomach pain, and tremors after taking Adwin. Inform your doctor immediately.
