Yes, Salivate MF is used in the treatment of gastritis. It is presumed that Salivate MF works in gastritis by suppressing the immune response which causes inflammation and additionally relieving the symptoms of gastritis such as stomach pain, stomach inflammation, and acid reflux.
This is because a long-term use of Salivate MF can cause Vitamin B12 deficiency. Stomach acids help in the absorption of Vitamin B 12, and this drug suppresses stomach acid which is required for the absorption of vitamin B12.
