Lofen is a prescription medicine that is available as a Gel. It is typically used for the treatment of Muscle Pain, Toothache, Rheumatic Pain. Other than this, Lofen has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Lofen. The condition it has been prescribed for, and the route of administration also determine the right dosage. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

While these are the most often observed Lofen side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Such side effects of Lofen normally do not last long and go away once the treatment is completed. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

In addition, Lofen's effect is Severe during pregnancy and Mild for lactating mothers. In addition, Lofen's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Lofen related warnings section.

Lofen is not recommended if you suffer from certain medical conditions as it can have adverse effects. Stomach Infection, Skin Rash, Stroke are examples of such conditions. The section on Lofen contraindications lists all such conditions.
