Neugalin is a brand name of pregabalin. It is a prescription drug that belongs to the class of medication called cyclic GABA analogue. It has an anti-epileptic property. It is available in different consume types such as tablets and capsules which are meant to be taken orally. It is also used to treat neuropathic pain (pain or injury in the nerves) associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy (nerves injured due to high blood sugar), post-herpetic neuralgia (painful rash with the blister), epilepsy (seizure), fibromyalgia (widespread muscle pain and tenderness) and generalised anxiety disorder (GAD).
Yes, Neugalin can cause dizziness. It is a most common adverse effect. Therefore if you feel dizzy do not force yourself to get up instantly, instead lie down or take rest for atleast 15-20 minutes and then presume any activity.
Rarely, Neugalin can cause addiction. There are no such cases reported. However, please inform your doctor if you are experiencing addiction after taking this medication.
