Etowox works by blocking the action of prostaglandins which is responsible for inflammations (swellings) in our body. This helps to relieve temporary painful inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. It also acts as analgesic which relieves pain.
It is recommended to avoid taking Etowox with paracetamol because it can cause liver problems. However, if your doctor has prescribed it to you take it as per his/her advice. In case you are experiencing diarrhea, yellow eye, abdominal pain, and swelling in the leg please inform your doctor immediately.
Yes, Etowox can increase blood pressure (BP) in some people, if taken a higher dose. It may increase the chance of stroke and heart attack.
