Interaction between Alcohol and Fluzide

Fluzide is a prescription drug so do not take it without consulting a doctor. It can be harmful to consume this medicine if you don't require it.
Fluzide inhibit the fungal cytochrome P450 enzyme lanosterol 14- demethylase and thus block ergosterol synthesis leading to membrane abnormalities in the fungus. It kills the fungus by destroying its cell membrane.
Occasionally, Fluzide causes constipation when it is taken orally, while the interavenous administration of the medication does not cause constipation or other stomach related issues.
