Fluco (Udik) is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Capsule. Fungal Infections, Candidal Infection, Urinary Tract Infection are some of its major therapeutic uses. Fluco (Udik) also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

Interaction between Alcohol and Fluco (Udik)
It is difficult to say anything about the effect of Fluco (Udik) and alcohol. No research has been done on this yet.
No, Usually Fluco Capsule does not cause nephrotoxicity. But as per FDA reports patients above 65 years have exhibited acute renal failure hence elderly patients should take Fluco Capsule only when prescribed. However, the exact mechanism of renal failure associated with this drug is not yet known.
Occasionally, Fluco Capsule causes constipation when it is taken orally, while the interavenous administration of the medication does not cause constipation or other stomach related issues.
Fluco Capsule inhibit the fungal cytochrome P450 enzyme lanosterol 14- demethylase and thus block ergosterol synthesis leading to membrane abnormalities in the fungus. It kills the fungus by destroying its cell membrane.
Rarely, Fluco Capsule can cause stomach upset especially when it is intravenously administered (route injectible). On the contrary, oral administration of Fluco Capsule has been reported to cause stomach upset such as indigestion, stomach pain, diarrhea, and nausea. Keep your doctor informed in case you are experiencing stomach disturbances while taking this drug.
Discontinuation of Fluco Capsule on your own can cause unwanted side effects such as a headache, dizziness, stomach upset, and diarrhea. You are recommended to always consult a doctor before discontinuing this medicine.
