No research has been done on this till date. Therefore, it is not known what the effect of taking Flucan 100 Capsule with alcohol will be.
No, Usually Flucan (Bombay) does not cause nephrotoxicity. But as per FDA reports patients above 65 years have exhibited acute renal failure hence elderly patients should take Flucan (Bombay) only when prescribed. However, the exact mechanism of renal failure associated with this drug is not yet known.
Flucan (Bombay) can be taken orally or it can be also intravenously administered.
Flucan (Bombay) inhibit the fungal cytochrome P450 enzyme lanosterol 14- demethylase and thus block ergosterol synthesis leading to membrane abnormalities in the fungus. It kills the fungus by destroying its cell membrane.
Flucan (Bombay) is a prescription drug so do not take it without consulting a doctor. It can be harmful to consume this medicine if you don't require it.
Rarely, Flucan (Bombay) can cause stomach upset especially when it is intravenously administered (route injectible).
