Yes, Zappy might raise your blood pressure (hypertension). It is a known side effect of this drug. The normal levels of blood pressure are restored after discontinuation of this medicine. If you are already suffering from hypertension then your doctor might monitor your blood pressure during follow-ups.
Take one tablet of Zappy at bedtime or as advised by your doctor. Ideally, oral Zappy should be taken empty stomach because the presence of food might affect the absorption of this drug from the stomach. Precautions must be taken in patients with obstructive sleep apnoea, myasthenia gravis, and compromised respiratory function.
