Interaction between Alcohol and Flublast Tablet
Consult your doctor before consuming alcohol while taking Flublast Tablet as it can have severe side effects.
As we know Flublast is most widely used 'over-the-counter' analgesic/antipyretic medicine. However, paracetamol overdose can cause serious adverse effects on the liver, it may be fatal. But fortunately, there is an antidote, N-acetylcysteine (NAC) given within 8 hours of Flublast ingestion which usually can prevent all serious side effects of Flublast poisoning. However, do not take NAC without consulting a doctor as your doctor will tell you the right way and methods to help you relieve from this drug poisoning.
An overdose occurs when more than the required amount (toxic levels) of [medicine] is taken. Initial symptoms of Flublast overdose includes loss of appetite, drowsiness, seizures, abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting. Later progressive symptoms may include pain in your upper stomach, dark colored urine, yellowing of your skin or the white patches in your eyes, liver damage and in rare cases, it can also lead to coma. So, by any chance, if you have accidentally taken more than the required dose of Flublast inform your doctor immediately.
No, Flublast is not used for treating stomach pain. The stomach pain could be due to some underlying medical condition which may require medical attention. If the pain does not subside within 1 day. Please consult your doctor without further delay.
Yes, Flublast can be taken safely with a less sedative antihistaminic drug like cetirizine and loratadine etc. No harmful effects are reported. However, another group of antihistamine drug which causes drowsiness and sleepiness like chlorpheniramine, diphenhydramine etc. should not be taken together unless and until recommended by your doctor.
Yes, Flublast can be taken with a multivitamin. No harmful interactions found between them. However, this is not necessarily mean no interaction exists. Always consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking these two medicines at the same time.
