Np.Com is a painkiller, not an antibiotic drug. It is used to treat the short-lasting painful inflammatory conditions such as sports injuries, sinusitis, and other ear-nose-throat disorders, dental surgery, bursitis (Inflammation of the fluid-filled sac in the joints), lower backache, dysmenorrhoea (painful menstruation), post-operative pain, osteoarthritis, and fever.
Yes, Np.Com can be taken with paracetamol. There is no drug interaction found between them.
Yes, Np.Com can cause renal failure If taken for a long time. It may lead to several renal dysfunctions such as tubular necrosis, glomerulitis, renal papillary necrosis, elevation in serum creatinine and renal failure. Please consult your doctor before taking this medicine, if you have any kidney disease.
Ideally Np.Com is not prescribed by a doctor for a toothache. However, in the absence of painkillers such as ibuprofen, acetaminophen, naproxen etc, nimesulide can be taken to get instant relief from tooth pain. Generally, for treating toothache arising due to dental cavities and dental procedures ibuprofen along with antibiotics are recommended by dentists to reduce swelling and pain.
Np.Com is primarily not used to treat the common cold and sore throat. It can only relieve cold-related symptoms such as a fever, headache, earache, and aching joints. It doesn't help in relieving cough or stuffy nose.
