Interaction between Alcohol and Missile
Consult your doctor before consuming alcohol while taking Missile as it can have severe side effects.
Missile contains telmisartan which is an antihypertensive drug that works by preventing a chemical (angiotensin II) to bind with a receptor. This causes relaxation of blood vessels, it also prevents the synthesis and release of aldosterone (a hormone whose hyperactivity results in high blood pressure). In this way Missile decreases the blood pressure.
Missile can be taken as long as it is prescribed by your doctor. You must not discontinue taking it even when you start feeling well. In addition, you must not take it more frequently as that can have adverse effects. Follow the recommendations of your doctor completely.
Yes, Missile causes hyponatremia (low level of sodium in the blood). Treatment with telmisartan might call for a regular blood monitoring for checking sodium levels.

Missile is available in the form of tablets. A tablet is usually taken once a day, with or without food because food affects the absorption of this drug.
