L is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Capsule. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Peptic Ulcer. The alternative uses of L have also been explained below.

No, L is not an antibiotic. It contains lansoprazole which belongs to the class of drug known as proton pump inhibitor (PPI).
Yes, L can be taken with ibuprofen. No harmful drug interaction has been reported between them. It is safe to take L along with ibuprofen if the dose of L does not exceed as recommended by the doctor.
L works by blocking the action of an enzyme (H+/K+ATPase) in the cells (parietal) of the stomach which is responsible for acid production in the stomach. Due to blockage of this enzyme, the production of acid is decreased, and this helps to relieve the stomach from acidity, heartburn, GERD, stomach ulcer and other acidity related stomach problem.
L should be taken before a meal because the presence of food can affect the absorption of this drug from the stomach and its therapeutic benefit. Preferably it should be taken once a day in the morning before breakfast. However, some patient may need twice a day, in this case, 1 tablet should be taken in the morning and 1 tablet in the evening before the meal as directed by the doctor. Please consult your doctor regarding the exact dosage regimen of medicine and follow his/her instruction.
Yes, you can take L with paracetamol. There is no any harmful effects are seen when taking this two medicines together. However, it doesn't mean that no interaction exists between.
