Chexid is a prescription drug, available for use as Capsule. Peptic Ulcer are some of its major therapeutic uses. Chexid also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Chexid. Individual symptoms and route of administration also determines the right dosage. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

While these are the most often observed Chexid side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Such side effects of Chexid normally do not last long and go away once the treatment is completed. Please speak with your doctor if these side effects worsen or persist for a longer duration.

It is also important to note that Chexid has a Moderate effect for pregnant women and Moderate effect on lactating mothers. In addition, Chexid's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Chexid related warnings section.
