Herperax is a prescription drug, available for use as Tablet, Ointment. Herpes, Shingles, Cold Sores are some of its major therapeutic uses. Herperax also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

Interaction between Food and Herperax
Taking Herperax with food is safe.
Interaction between Alcohol and Herperax
Side effects of drinking alcohol and taking Herperax at the same time are rare and minor. However, if you face any side effects, talk to your doctor immediately.
Yes Herperax can be taken with paracetamol. Paracetamol does not interfere with the efficacy of Herperax. Hence, it is alright to take them together. However, if you feel any discomfort after taking this drug do not hesitate to inform your doctor.
Herperax should be taken by mouth 1 - 2 times in a day or as advised by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food but it is preferred to take with a meal to avoid stomach upset. The topical cream should be applied gently on the affected area 5 - 6 times in a day or as advised by your doctor. After applying Herperax, gently rub the cream till fully absorbed, then wash your hands. Precautions must be taken in patients with neurological abnormalities, and improper liver or kidney function.
Rarely, Herperax causes fatigue. It is a known side effect of this drug. However, the exact cause of fatigue is not known. If you experience tiredness after taking this drug, then try to take some rest even after that if you feel excessive tiredness then do discuss it with your doctor.
No, Herperax does not affect fertility. Animal studies have shown that Herperax does not impair fertility. Also Herperax induced infertility has not been reported by the patients who are taking Herperax.
No, Herperax does not cause constipation. However, if you are experiencing constipation after taking this drug, it may be due to some other medical conditions. Take precautionary methods to avoid constipation such as eating fibrous food, drink plenty of fluid, and take some laxative (Lactulose syrup).
