Gentacip D contains gentamicin which is a broad spectrum antibiotic effective against many gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. It works by stopping the production of proteins that bacteria need to survive. Hence in this way, Gentacip D kills the bacteria and treats the infection.
No, Gentacip D does not cause acne. It has not been reported by the patients who are taking this drug. If you are experiencing acne after taking this drug then it might be due to some other reason and you are advised to discuss it with your doctor.
