No, Esynos is not indicated to be used for herpes. Esynos is used for treating skin rash, eczema, and psoriasis. Herpes is a viral infection caused by the Herpes simplex virus. Symptoms could be cold sores, blisters, ulcers, vaginal discharge, and pain while urinating. Prescription antiviral medicines for the treatment might include acyclovir, famciclovir, and valacyclovir.
Esynos works by releasing some anti-inflammatory proteins and inhibiting the synthesis of some inflammation mediators. This provides relief to the patient temporarily.
No, Esynos is not recommended to be used for ringworm. Ringworm is a fungal infection and it is not caused by any worm. It presents as a silver or red colored patch which may be swollen, itchy, scaly or dry. Ringworm can manifest in any part of the body, including groin (jock itch) and scalp (tenia capitis). The rash is usually ring-shaped on places other than face, neck or scalp. At times, the rash starts spreading. It should be treated using antifungal creams containing ingredients like clotrimazole, miconazole, etc.
Yes, Esynos can be used for the treatment of brown patches on the skin or melasma, however, it is not used alone. It is always used in combination with hydroquinone, isotretinoin and sometimes glycolic acid. Melasma is a common skin condition. It is usually manifested as brown to gray-brown patches on the forehead, bridge of the nose, cheeks, upper lip, and chin. It can also invade forearms and neck. Alongside topical treatment, protection from Sun is also suggested as a treatment.
Esynos may cause delayed weight gain and slowed growth in children on whom it is used topically. Therefore, you must talk to a doctor before using Esynos on children.
