Discontinuation of Coldfiz on your own can cause unwanted side effects. You are recommended to always consult a doctor before discontinuing this medicine.
Ideally Coldfiz is not prescribed by a doctor for a toothache. However, in the absence of painkillers such as ibuprofen, acetaminophen, naproxen etc, nimesulide can be taken to get instant relief from tooth pain. Generally, for treating toothache arising due to dental cavities and dental procedures ibuprofen along with antibiotics are recommended by dentists to reduce swelling and pain.
No, Coldfiz is not banned for use in adults and elderly patients by CDSCO. However, CDSCO has banned Coldfiz for children below 12 years age as it can cause hepatic failure (liver failure).
Yes, Coldfiz can be taken with paracetamol. There is no drug interaction found between them.
