Ciptid is a prescription drug, available for use as Tablet. It is typically used for the treatment of Urinary Tract Infection, Bacterial Infections. Other than this, Ciptid has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

Interaction between Food and Ciptid
Using Ciptid with some foods may lead to harmful effects. Take your doctor's advice on this.
Interaction between Alcohol and Ciptid
Taking alcohol with Ciptid can be dangerous.
Ciptid can increase the risk of tendonitis and tendon rupture in some patient. However, the exact mechanism of tendon rupture is not known. If you suffer from tendon rupture or any kind of muscular pain after consuming this drug, please consult your doctor immediately.
Yes, Ciptid can be taken with paracetamol, no clinically significant interactions are seen between these two. However, it doesn't mean that no interaction exists between them. Please talk to your doctor before consuming these two medicines together.
It is recommended to avoid taking Ciptid with azithromycin because it can cause problems. However, if your doctor has prescribed it to you take it as per his/her advice. In case you are experiencing breathing difficulties, palpitations and pain in the chest please inform your doctor immediately.
Discontinuing Ciptid on your own can increase the chances of bacterial resistance and infection relapse. It is recommended that you always consult your doctor if you have decided to discontinue this medicine.
Do not take Ciptid along with dairy products such as milk or yogurt or calcium-containing foods. Dairy products may affect the absorption of the medicine directly affecting the efficacy of this drug. Hence, avoid taking Ciptid with calcium-rich foods.
