Interaction between Food and Ciprova 500 Tablet

Interaction between Alcohol and Ciprova 500 Tablet
Taking Ciprova 500 Tablet with alcohol can have severely harmful effects on your health.
Ciprova is not recommended as the first-line of a drug for treating a sinus infection. However, if there are no other alternatives available then you can take it. Keep your doctor informed.
It is recommended to avoid taking Ciprova with ibuprofen, because it may increase the risk of side effects associated with the central nervous system. Hence you must consult a doctor before taking these two medicines together.
Ciprova used to treat several bacterial infections, like urinary tract infection (UTI), pneumonia, bone, and joint infection, endocarditis, gastroenteritis, otitis externa, prostatitis, anthrax, and bacterial infection of the eye. It is not effective for treating any viral infections such as cold, and flu.
Ciprova should not be taken together. Harmful drug-drug interaction has been reported between them. Please let your doctor know that you are on warfarin if he/she has prescribed Ciprova to you.
Discontinuing Ciprova on your own can increase the chances of bacterial resistance and infection relapse. It is recommended that you always consult your doctor if you have decided to discontinue this medicine.
