Cipract is a prescription medicine that is available as a Tablet. It is typically used for the treatment of Urinary Tract Infection, Bacterial Infections. Other than this, Cipract has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

Interaction between Food and Cipract
Taking Cipract with food can create severe side effects. Discuss this with your doctor.
Interaction between Alcohol and Cipract
Taking alcohol with Cipract can be dangerous.
It is recommended to avoid taking Cipract with ibuprofen, because it may increase the risk of side effects associated with the central nervous system. Hence you must consult a doctor before taking these two medicines together.
Cipract should not be taken together. Harmful drug-drug interaction has been reported between them. Please let your doctor know that you are on warfarin if he/she has prescribed Cipract to you.
Do not take Cipract along with dairy products such as milk or yogurt or calcium-containing foods. Dairy products may affect the absorption of the medicine directly affecting the efficacy of this drug. Hence, avoid taking Cipract with calcium-rich foods.
Cipract can increase the risk of tendonitis and tendon rupture in some patient. However, the exact mechanism of tendon rupture is not known. If you suffer from tendon rupture or any kind of muscular pain after consuming this drug, please consult your doctor immediately.
Cipract used to treat several bacterial infections, like urinary tract infection (UTI), pneumonia, bone, and joint infection, endocarditis, gastroenteritis, otitis externa, prostatitis, anthrax, and bacterial infection of the eye. It is not effective for treating any viral infections such as cold, and flu.
