Cifomed is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Drops, Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Urinary Tract Infection, Bacterial Infections. Secondary and off-label uses of Cifomed have also been mentioned below.
Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Cifomed. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. Detailed information has been provided in the dosage section.
Apart from the aforementioned side effects, Cifomed can also lead to other problems, which have been listed below. Normally, these side effects of Cifomed are not long lasting and go away when the treatment is finished. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

Interaction between Alcohol and Cifomed
Consuming Cifomed with alcohol can have many serious effects on your body.
Yes, you can take Cifomed for UTI infection. It is the first-line drug for treating UTI infection. It is active against the bacteria which causes UTI infection. However, you must follow all the instruction and direction written on the prescription and do not discontinue medication without consulting your doctor.
Cifomed and doxylamine can be taken together, as there are no reported harmful interactions between them. However, it doesn't mean that no interactions exist between them. Please take if prescribed by a doctor.
Cifomed should be taken with a meal. Drink plenty of fluids while you are taking this medicine. Drinking extra water will help prevent some unwanted effects of this medicine.
