No, Ceoderm is not a steroid. It is an antifungal medicine which belongs to the class of drug know as imidazole.
Ceoderm inhibit the fungal cytochrome P450 enzyme lanosterol 14- demethylase and thus block ergosterol synthesis leading to membrane abnormalities in the fungus. It kills the fungus by destroying its cell membrane.
