Yes, long-term use of Amoflox D can increase the risk of tendonitis and tendon rupture in some people. However, the exact mechanism of tendon rupture is not known. If you suffer from tendon rupture or any kind of muscular pain after consuming this drug, please consult your doctor immediately.
Discontinuing Amoflox D on your own can increase the chances of bacterial resistance and infection relapse. It is recommended that you always consult your doctor if you have decided to discontinue this medicine.
No, Amoflox D is not a painkiller. It is an antibiotic that belongs to the class of medications called fluoroquinolone.
