Succimed is a prescription drug, available for use as Injection. It is primarily used for the treatment of Ulcerative Colitis, Rheumatoid Arthritis. Other than this, Succimed has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

The right dosage of Succimed depends on the age, gender, and medical history of the patient. The condition it has been prescribed for, and the route of administration also determine the right dosage. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

Succimed also has some side effects, the most common being Agitation, Anxiety, Blurred vision. While these are the most often observed Succimed side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Usually, these side effects of Succimed go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. Consult your doctor if these side effects become worse or stay for a longer duration.

Succimed's effect during pregnancy is Moderate and Moderate while nursing. In addition, Succimed's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Succimed related warnings section.

Succimed can cause adverse effects in certain medical conditions. It is strongly recommended to avoid Succimed in conditions like Tuberculosis (TB), Infections, Peptic Ulcer. Other contraindications of Succimed have been discussed in the sections ahead.
