Ciplox Tz is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Tablet. It is typically used for the treatment of Amebiasis, Bacterial Infections, Urinary Tract Infection. Secondary and off-label uses of Ciplox Tz have also been mentioned below.

Ciplox TZ used to treat several bacterial infections, like urinary tract infection (UTI), pneumonia, bone, and joint infection, endocarditis, gastroenteritis, otitis externa, prostatitis, anthrax, and bacterial infection of the eye. It is not effective for treating any viral infections such as cold, and flu.
Ciplox TZ is a broad-spectrum antibiotic, active against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It works by inhibiting the bacterial cell division for this it stops the working of enzyme which is responsible for cell division. It is effective against a large number of bacteria, even those bacteria which is other drugs to resistant.
It is recommended to avoid taking Ciplox TZ with azithromycin because it can cause problems. However, if your doctor has prescribed it to you take it as per his/her advice. In case you are experiencing breathing difficulties, palpitations and pain in the chest please inform your doctor immediately.
Ciplox TZ is not recommended as the first-line of a drug for treating a sinus infection. However, if there are no other alternatives available then you can take it. Keep your doctor informed.
Ciplox TZ should be taken with a meal. Drink plenty of fluids while you are taking this medicine. Drinking extra water will help prevent some unwanted effects of this medicine. Do not take this medicine along with milk, yogurt, or other dairy products may reduce the absorption of a drug. Take it exactly as directed by the physician.
