Interaction between Food and Peptiran

Interaction between Alcohol and Peptiran
Taking Peptiran with alcohol can have severely harmful effects on your health.
Take Peptiran as directed by your doctor. Do not take this medicine longer than prescribed.
Avoid smoking while you are taking Peptiran. As per clinical studies, the effectiveness of Peptiran is found to be lesser in smokers as compared to non-smokers. Moreover, smoking may increase the acid secretions which can cause stomach problems. Please discuss with your doctor to know more.
Peptiran can be taken with or without food to prevent heartburn and acid indigestion. Take it 30 - 60 minute before meal or drinking beverages that cause indigestion. Do not take more than 2 tablets in a day unless recommended by the doctor.
Taking [medicine] does not directly cause pneumonia. However, in some cases [medicine] may increase the chances of bacteria to grow inside the gut causing bacterial infections such as pneumonia. The bacterial growth in the gut can be caused due to decreased acid secretion in the stomach which allow growth of bacteria in the gut which can move into the lungs through breathing. Please consult your doctor if you are experiencing fever, breathing difficulties and nonstop coughing for more than 2 weeks.
