It is also used for alleviation of the menstrual pain, before and during the menstrual cycle. It is also used to relieve fever and pain associated with a headache, minor aches, sprains, common cold, toothache, and backache. It also shows the antiplatelet effect which means it prevents the formation of blood clots. Coflam Mr is used for the treatment of psoriatic arthritis (a chronic skin disease causing scaling and swelling), gouty arthritis (which develops from the built up of some chemical in the joints) and ankylosing spondylitis (arthritis that affects the spine).
Coflam Mr is available in the form of a tablet, chewable tablet, suspension and drops, and syrup. Prescription Coflam Mr is taken every 4 to 6 hours for arthritis and pain. Adults and children older than 12 years may take non-prescription Coflam Mr every 4 to 6 hours. Children and infants may be given Coflam Mr every 6 to 8 hours. It is important to take Coflam Mr with food or milk so as to prevent stomach upset. If you are taking Coflam Mr every day, remember to take it at the same time. Coflam Mr is also available in combination with other drugs for treating cold and cough. If you have prescribed a combination containing Coflam Mr, do not take any non-prescription drug containing Coflam Mr as it might cause overdosage. Shake the drops and suspensions well before use.
