Zocin TZ is a brand name of ofloxacin. It is a prescription drug that belongs to the class of medication called fluoroquinolones. It is a broad spectrum antibiotic, used for treating bacterial infections, such as bronchitis, pneumonia, urinary, respiratory, skin, gastrointestinal, anthrax, bone, and eye infections.
Zocin TZ is not recommended as the first-line of drug for treating sinus infection. However, if there are no other alternatives available then you can take it, after doctor's advice.
Take Zocin TZ as directed by your doctor. Do not take this medicine longer than prescribed.
Zocin TZ should be taken with a meal. Drink plenty of fluids while you are taking this medicine. Drinking extra water will help prevent some unwanted effects of this medicine.
