Xith Information

Xith is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Tablet. It is typically used for the treatment of Ear Infection, Tonsillitis, Pneumonia. Other than this, Xith has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

Xith is used to treat a number of bacterial infections, such as respiratory tract infection, sexually transmitted disease (STD), pneumonia, bronchitis, ear infection, Lyme disease, Mycobacterium Avium Bacteria Infection, whooping cough, sinuses, skin, throat, and infections of the lungs. It will not work for viral infection and other pathogenic infections such as cold, flu.

Can I take Xith for treating an abscess?

Xith is not given for the abscess. It is not recommended for skin and soft tissue infection. Generally, a combination of Amoxicillin and Clavulanate is given twice daily. However. it is best to consult your doctor for the right line of treatment for an abscess.
