Safaz Information

Safaz is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Tablet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Ear Infection, Tonsillitis, Pneumonia. Safaz also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

No harmful interactions are found between Safaz and alcohol, it does not reduce the effectiveness of the drug. However, alcohol can cause liver damage and dehydration in some people which may increase the severity of side effects, if taken together. So, it is better to avoid taking alcohol with Safaz.

Take Safaz exactly as prescribed by your doctor, do not exceed dosage. Food does not affect the absorption of azithromycin, one can take it with or without foods but to avoid stomach disturbances take it with a light meal. Complete the entire course of medicine.
