Interaction between Alcohol and Orlina
Due to lack of research, nothing can be said about side effects of consuming alcohol while taking Orlina.
Rarely, Orlina causes nausea and vomiting. It is an uncommon side effect of this drug. For relief from nausea and vomiting try to take lime water, avoid eating spicy food even after that if it persists or becomes severe then discuss it with your doctor.
Yes, Orlina can treat UTI (urinary tract infection) but it is not generally preferred as a first line drug of choice for the treatment of UTI. It is only prescribed in UTI when other drugs are not effective in treating the infection.
Yes, Orlina is an antibiotic. It contains linezolid which is a broad spectrum antibiotic that belongs to the class of drug known as oxazolidinone. It is used for the treatment of bacterial infections such as pneumonia and skin infections.
No, Orlina does not cause hair loss (alopecia). It has not been associated with hair loss till now. If you are experiencing any unusual hair loss after using this drug and you are in doubt that Orlina is causing this effect then do discuss it with your doctor.
Rarely, Orlina causes fever and chills. If you are experiencing fever after taking this drug then try to take mild antipyretic medicine such as paracetamol even after this fever does not subsidise then discuss with your doctor and follow his/her instructions.
