Yes, Lineace covers enterococcus. It is effective against enterococcus bacteria which are resistant to vancomycin such as Enterococcus faecalis and Enterococcus faecium.
Rarely, Lineace causes fever and chills. If you are experiencing fever after taking this drug then try to take mild antipyretic medicine such as paracetamol even after this fever does not subsidise then discuss with your doctor and follow his/her instructions.

No, Lineace does not contains penicillin. It contains linezolid which is a broad spectrum antibiotic that belongs to the class of drug known as oxazolidinone. It is effectively used in the treatment of bacterial infections.
