3 A is a macrolide antibiotic, it works by inhibiting the bacterial protein synthesis which is necessary for bacteria to perform vital activities Thus, it stops the growth of bacteria in our body and prevents the infections. Its effects may be bacteriostatic or bactericidal depending on the drug concentration.
