Yes, Ultram causes withdrawal symptoms when the drug is suddenly discontinued after long-term treatment. These withdrawal symptoms include seizures, dysphoria (unease or dissatisfaction), vomiting, sweating, uncontrollable shaking of a part of your body, stomach or muscle cramps, anxiety, or difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep.
