Discontinuing Zithcure on your own can increase the chances of bacterial resistance and may cause a relapse of the infection. It is recommended that you always consult your doctor before discounting this drug.
Yes, you can take Zithcure for a sore throat, if it is caused by bacteria. It's very difficult to distinguish between a sore throat caused due to a viral or bacterial infection. Hence take it only when a doctor has prescribed it to you.
Take Zithcure exactly as prescribed by your doctor, do not exceed dosage. Food does not affect the absorption of azithromycin, one can take it with or without foods but to avoid stomach disturbances take it with a light meal. Complete the entire course of medicine.
Zithcure is not given for the abscess. It is not recommended for skin and soft tissue infection. Generally, a combination of Amoxicillin and Clavulanate is given twice daily. However. it is best to consult your doctor for the right line of treatment for an abscess.
