Yes, Viclob M might cause dry skin in few cases only. However, the exact cause behind dry skin is unknown. If you are experiencing excessive dryness of skin after applying this drug then you are advised to use a skin moisturizer. Skin moisturizer should be applied only after 30 minutes of applying this drug so that the Viclob M can be absorbed by the skin.
Application of Viclob M on the face must be avoided but if it has been advised by your doctor then you can use it only for a short-term period not more than 5 days because the skin on your face thins easily.
Yes, Viclob M might lighten skin because it causes skin atrophy (skin thinning) which reduces the darkness of the skin. However, Viclob M is not approved for skin lightening and should not be used for this purpose because it can cause unpleasant side effects.
