You may consume alcohol while taking Tenovate M. But caution is still important.
Tenovate M is used for the short-term treatment up to 2 weeks and if required then maximum up to 4 weeks. You are advised to use it as directed by your doctor. Do not use this medicine longer than prescribed by your doctor to avoid the unpleasant side effect.
Yes, Tenovate M might cause hair loss (alopecia). It is a rare side effect of this drug and the exact cause behind hair loss is unknown. For partial hair loss, you are advised to use hair solution such as minoxidil.
No, Tenovate M alone should not be used for jock itch also known as tinea cruris because it is a fungal infection and Tenovate M is not an antifungal agent and it is not effective against fungi. Hence Tenovate M should not be used for the treatment of jock itch. For the treatment of jock itch, you can use a combination of Tenovate M and antifungal drugs such as miconazole and fluconazole.
Yes, Tenovate M might be used for the treatment of lichen sclerosus (LS) which is a skin condition that causes thinning of the skin and white patches, generally in the genital area. Clinical studies have found Tenovate M to be effective in the treatment of lichen sclerosus (LS).
No, Tenovate M alone should not be used for ringworm because it is a fungal infection of the skin caused by fungi such as Trichophyton rubrum and Epidermophyton floccosum and Tenovate M is not an antifungal agent and it is not effective against fungi.
