In this way Tufderm prevents the skin inflammation which provides relief to the patient from rash, itching, and redness.
No, Tufderm alone should not be used for jock itch also known as tinea cruris because it is a fungal infection and Tufderm is not an antifungal agent and it is not effective against fungi. Hence Tufderm should not be used for the treatment of jock itch. For the treatment of jock itch, you can use a combination of Tufderm and antifungal drugs such as miconazole and fluconazole.
