Triotab is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Capsule. Fever, Heart Attack, Angina are some of its major therapeutic uses. Triotab also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.
Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Triotab. The condition it has been prescribed for, and the route of administration also determine the right dosage. Detailed information has been provided in the dosage section.
Common side effects of Triotab include Headache, Nasopharyngitis, Diarrhoea. While these are the most often observed Triotab side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Usually, these side effects of Triotab go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.
It is also important to note that Triotab has a Moderate effect for pregnant women and Mild effect on lactating mothers. In addition, Triotab's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Triotab related warnings section.

There may be an adverse effect on the liver after taking Triotab. If you observe any side effects on your body then stop taking this drug. Take this medicine again only if your doctor advises you to do so.
What is the effect of Triotab on the Heart?
Very few cases of side effects of Triotab on the heart have been reported.

Interaction between Food and Triotab
Some foods when eaten with Triotab can alter the onset of actions. Discuss this with your doctor.
Interaction between Alcohol and Triotab
No research has been done on this till date. Therefore, it is not known what the effect of taking Triotab with alcohol will be.
Yes Triotab can lower blood pressure because it has an anticoagulant (blood thinning) property which inhibits the aggregation of platelets in vessels, however, please consult your doctor for a better medication option.
Triotab primarily relieves pain because it is an analgesic. It also reduces inflammations (swellings) arising due to injuries and infections in the body. Apart from being an analgesic, it works by preventing strokes and other heart-related disorders by, the blood and reducing thromboxane (a chemical) responsible for making the platelets sticky. Hence by this action, it prevents blood clots which further prevents strokes and heart blockages.
Triotab is a prescription drug so do not take it without consulting a doctor. It can be harmful to take this medicine without proper recommendation.
Triotab is to be taken orally preferably after a light meal. Generally, this drug can be safely taken depending upon the age and condition of the person. However, please take Triotab as directed by the physician.
There has been no established research which claims miscarriage after taking Triotab during early pregnancy. Infact according to some reports low doses can be safely taken. However, it is best to check with your gynaecologist regarding dosage and right medication to be taken during pregnancy.
