Targit is a prescription drug, available for use as Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Heart Failure, High BP. Targit also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

Targit also has some side effects, the most common being Dizziness, Nausea or vomiting, Back Pain. Some other side effects of Targit have been listed ahead. Targit contains telmisartan which is an antihypertensive drug that works by preventing a chemical (angiotensin II) to bind with a receptor. This causes relaxation of blood vessels, it also prevents the synthesis and release of aldosterone (a hormone whose hyperactivity results in high blood pressure). In this way Targit decreases the blood pressure.
