Interaction between Alcohol and Rowezy

Rowezy is used to treat a number of bacterial infections, such as respiratory tract infection, sexually transmitted disease (STD), pneumonia, bronchitis, ear infection, Lyme disease, Mycobacterium Avium Bacteria Infection, whooping cough, sinuses, skin, throat, and infections of the lungs. It will not work for viral infection and other pathogenic infections such as cold, flu.
No harmful interactions are found between Rowezy and alcohol, it does not reduce the effectiveness of the drug. However, alcohol can cause liver damage and dehydration in some people which may increase the severity of side effects, if taken together. So, it is better to avoid taking alcohol with Rowezy.
Yes, Rowezy can treat gonorrhea and chlamydia. For the mild infection, a single dose is given whereas in case of severe infection treatment should be given for at least one week, and response should be closely monitored by a doctor. However, you must consult your doctor before taking any antibiotic for treating gonorrhea and chlamydia.
If you are allergic to Rowezy then do not take it. If you have already taken it and you are experiencing allergic reactions do not delay inform your doctor immediately.
