Rarely, Renicol PX causes nausea and vomiting. It is a known side effect of this drug. For relief from nausea and vomiting try to take lime water, avoid eating spicy food even if it persists or becomes severe then discuss with your doctor.
No, Renicol PX does not contain penicillin. It contains chloramphenicol which belongs to the class of drugs known as amphenicols. It is a broad spectrum antibiotic which covers a wide range of bacteria which are generally found to be resistant to penicillin.
