Relidol contains tramadol which is an opioid analgesic (pain-killer). It is presumed that tramadol provides relief from pain by binding to certain receptors (mu-opioid receptors) in our brain and by preventing the reuptake of chemical messengers (neurotransmitters) serotonin and norepinephrine. In this way Relidol provides relief to the patient from moderate to severe pain.
Yes, Relidol can be used to provide relief from a toothache (dental pain) because it contains tramadol which is a pain-killer.
