Yes, Pepdac is an antihistaminic drug. It works by blocking the histamine receptor further which blocks the action of histamine and hence decreases the acid production in the stomach.
Yes, Pepdac is used to treat gastritis. It helps by preventing the excess acid secretion in the stomach and additionally relieving the symptoms of gastritis such as stomach pain, stomach inflammation, and acid reflux.
Pepdac belong to a group of medication called a histamine antagonist or H2- receptor blocker.
